My Father's Home
Board | My Father's Home: An Orphanage Located in Bali Indonesia |

My Father's Home Board currently consists of eight people all with hearts to serve in whatever way they can with their gifts. We are hoping to expand our board as we expand the outreach of My Father's Home.

Kim Boyer: Kim is the daughter of Marian Stahl, the financial sponsor of the construction of My Father's Home. Kim has a degree in Recreation from Washington State University and spent twelve years working in the Snohomish School District. As administrator and head of the board, Kim has traveled to Bali numerous times and maintains constant contact with Tasha, the director of the home in Bali. She and her husband, Brian travel twice a year to My Father's Home to bring much needed supplies, help administrate, and to be with the children.

Brian Boyer: Brian is the husband of Kim and shares the same desire to see My Father's Home change lives. Brian has degrees in both Botany and Business from Central Washington University. He runs his own company of collecting pollen for the treatment of allergies. The seasonal nature of his work allows him the freedom to serve My Father's Home both in America and in Bali.

Karmel Ackerman: Karmel holds a B.A. degree in Broadcast Journalism and Interpersonal Communications. She is the founder and CEO of Event & Marketing Associates, Inc. and has over twenty years of marketing experience winning numerous awards and accolades for her work. Semi-retired from EMA, she has most recently donated her talents to helping new businesses start up as well as supporting a medical facility in northern Haiti. She also has experience being a Community Development Director for transition homes.

Cathy Huntington: Cathy was the first American, along with Kim, to meet the children in Bali in May of 2009. She has since visited My Father's Home two more times.  She was a dental assistant for twenty-five years and is now a caregiver for the elderly. She has been on at least eight missions trips to Haiti, Mexico, and Canada as well as Indonesia. Cathy brings experience, wisdom, joy and enthusiasm to our board.

April VanAssche: April attended Western Washington University playing intercollegiate soccer. She has been a high school girls soccer coach for over 23 years and has maintained a busy life raising five children. April has visited My Father's Home four times and has made an immense contribution to the success of our home.
